The babysitter
Sometimes we had a babysitter to go out or if Jan and I were working so sometimes Jan would have the babysitter stay overnight and into the next day as she was a friends daughter. I liked having her around- she was sixteen and it was just nice for me to talk with her some. When my kids were teens things where so wacky in my marriage and family situation I was really just an outsider providing the finances.
