My son had to work today.

So did I, although mine wasn’t on the clock for a guaranteed hourly rate. I spent quite a bit of time today on my other writing. I'm having myself a good ol' time.

Body functions aren't funny!

At least that’s what they tried to teach us way back in the dark ages when I was a boy. But we knew better than that. If they weren’t funny, why did everyone laugh at farts and admire belches? Belching and farting did the trick.

In more ways than one, I think. Right off the bat I noticed my last post here got more hits than I can ever remember getting between posts to any of my blogs. I'm tired, hungry, and

…I want a cigarette bad. I need to finish up here in a hurry so I can roll a couple of cigarettes (one for now and one for in the morning), fix a quick bite to eat, and get some sleep. My favorite oldies station is playing a lot of Christmas music.

I have no complaint about this except for their selections. Too much “Blue Christmas” from Elvis and not enough “White Christmas” from Bing. Don’t get me wrong. I love Elvis.
