All writing is not equal

Unless writing is in the same genre for the same kind of outlet you can't easily compare how long it should take to write one piece beside another. When did the violence register?

Yet another radio report of the carnage in Basra, Baghdad, Falluja. Will it never stop? Perhaps not in my lifetime. The report this time triggered a memory which has lain dormant. The beauty of The Swan is more than skin deep
