WHILE GOING THROUGH A BOX OF PAPERS THIS MORNING BEFORE DAYBREAK,

I found a piece of paper on which I had scribbled a poem by Lilian Moore, a wonderful author of delightful children's poetry. I like all of her poems, but this one about "Pigeons" has always been a favorite of mine. Now pinned to a bulletin board within view, it will serve as a daily reminder to me...
