THE MAGNOLIAS ARE BACK...AND BARBED HASN'T CHANGED ONE IOTA!

About this Blog

My name is Clarissa Jo Fleming. This is who I am in real life...well this is my name here and in the stories I write in real life. I love writing, and I love watching my characters develop. My two favorite characters - who just happen to be the two personae that make up the balance of my basic personality - are Barbara Ann, a.k.a. the Barbedwire Magnolia - from here on out known as Barbedwire (SHE DOES NOT LIKE TO BE CALLED BARBARA ANN!), and Belle who is the traditional Southern Magnolia. Barbedwire and Belle are my extremes, and I am somewhere in between. Belle is the one who tries to be the epitome of a true Southern Belle Magnolia like my mother tried to teach me to be. Barbedwire is the magnolia part of my makeup that was influenced by my daddy's side of the family - the West Texas side that tends to be pretty wide open. We each have something to say in our own unique way. Ya'll come see us often, hear?
