A full day and it's about over

It's 10:30 pm my time in OR, and guess I'll write a bit. I had 3 cleaning jobs today and worked a total of 4 hours. I'm glad we have some work, though not much yet. I finished making 2 journals today. They are both made with the coptic binding. One is 5 1/2 " x 4 1/2". It has a hard leather cover with very nice inkjet paper. The papers are different pastel colors. I really like the way it turned out. The other one is appoximately 9" x 6 inches. It has a soft leather cover. The back flap folds... Another day and a busy one too!

I got up late, cause I stayed up late. It's hard to go to sleep early with my family gone. The house is quiet, and no ones saying, "Why are you still up?" I am tired of watching videos and so I started on making another journal. I gave one away the other day and hope to sell some later. I learned the coptic binding in December, through a book I bought. I'm not sure why I'm writing again, but I am. I Just got done reading some really good writing and getting to know some of you... Work went great. Afterwards had a very interesting fellowship with a couple from the church I am going to. They were missionaries in Peru, so I heard some of their stories. We have been missionaries in Mexico the last 7 years, so I had some stories to tell too. God is so good I trust him completely, He has proved himself to me over and over, Through the valleys and... Time to visit...

Just got done talking with my brother for an hour or so. This is the first time we've lived near each other, so it's nice when he drops in. I enjoy visiting with people, when the conversation develops about God, and is not forced. That's what happened and we really were able to each talk, listen and be open about issues that some can't even talk about.... It's been a quiet day. My husband and kids all on their snow vacation. A little lonely, but I'm ok. I think it's the first time in years I've... Sign in to see full entry.

Friends we met in Mexico

A few days ago I wrote about our experiences in Baja California, Mexico. A few other amazing things happened while we lived at "Campo Cristiano". One day I was outside, at almost sunset. I was washing cloth diapers in a bucket and enjoying the quiet, the breeze and the warm weather. I looked up and we had company. A family were came to the camp for awhile. The directors knew them, and so they wanted to meet us. I finished up the diapers and went in the house to meet everybody. They had a large... Sign in to see full entry.
