Raccoons
At my brothers' house, out on the ranch where I grew up, we saw 5 raccoons outside the living room sliding glass door. They were eating cat food. One of them stood up and put his paws on the glass and looked in at us. My brother said they were only about 1/2 grown, and they were big. What a neat surprise.

Talking about home-made films
I can't believe I just wasted an hour. Well, not totally. I checked out my kid's you-tube movies they made. The best ones they did are not on you-tube (yet). Shocking Stunts is my favoRite! But you won't see it on You-tube, unless I can talk them into it and convince them it is worth it. But, one of my other favorites was "Bad acting", my kids and our friends did in Tucson. Saturday at last!
I got up late again, cause I didn't sleep well. I watched all the special features on "Mercy Streets". A very good film. I have the DVD and have seen it 3 or 4 times. After that I kept waking up. I better check the ingredients of my new vitamins I'm taking. This morning a friend called and needs a dog-sitter for a couple of weeks. It's a little dog, and my kids will all enjoy it alot I think. A full day and it's about over
It's 10:30 pm my time in OR, and guess I'll write a bit. I had 3 cleaning jobs today and worked a total of 4 hours. I'm glad we have some work, though not much yet. I finished making 2 journals today. They are both made with the coptic binding. One is 5 1/2 " x 4 1/2". It has a hard leather cover with very nice inkjet paper. The papers are different pastel colors. I really like the way it turned out. The other one is appoximately 9" x 6 inches. It has a soft leather cover. The back flap folds...

Another day and a busy one too!
I got up late, cause I stayed up late. It's hard to go to sleep early with my family gone. The house is quiet, and no ones saying, "Why are you still up?" I am tired of watching videos and so I started on making another journal. I gave one away the other day and hope to sell some later. I learned the coptic binding in December, through a book I bought. My son taught me a different kind of binding, but I was intrigued by the coptic bound books. So, I started out by using cereal boxes for covers....
