I've been asked about my opinion regarding leaving only "SMILIES"
1. A click is a click. 2. Sometimes I read and don't have anything to say. I don't often leave a smilie only, but I have once or twice. 3.When my posts and comments are not replied to at all I feel like I've slammed the hatch on further exchange. The ordering of information and it's incantation/intonation is important, and Roj's Rule here is as follows: "When coordinating the next step in an ongoing action, 1. start out with an attention getter/designator, followed by 2. indication of when to do the next step, then 3. describe the next step....

Another euphemistic rant..."Minor Surgery"
Don't mean to freak anyone out, but surgery is never "minor". "Relatively minor", sure, but "minor"......if it was minor, why use anesthetic and sterile technque?...do you see "do it yourself" kits at Walmart?...how many times a year do you have it done, doctor? Aha! There it is! "Minor surgery" is...
