I've been in Birmingham since Thursday afternoon and I've got to say that I am more than impressed with the city and the South in general (although definitely not Southwest airlines). My cousin's wedding was beautiful and surprisingly non-preachy considering it was my first time inside a Baptist church and I was sandwiched between my two gay uncles in the third row.
