Stuff of nightmares
No one said that life as a single mother would be easy, but yesterday was super tough by any standard. I started work at 8 in the morning and finished in 6.30. In the three "free" hours that I had, I had to buy food, pick up Adam from school, take him home, give him lunch and then take him to his English language class. He had been sick for 4 days but because the babysitter was sick too I had no choice but to send him to regular school as well as the ESL class and then leave him at the child...
