Ramadan is here!
Yes it's that time of the eyar again. For some obscure reason there was no "when is the first of Ramadan" mayhem yet hearing the cannon shots at sunset was a pleasant surprise. It is a custom that dates back to Ottoman times and it distinguishes Ramdan in Syria from other parts of the world. I'll be working around the clock this motnh.
