Copycats

Even better imitations don't do as well as the original as far as imitating the comic actor is concerned. Success Formula

When delivering a series of jokes, I would recommend a simple but effective formula: (1) Start strong - immediately connect and get your audience attention (2) Practice new jokes in between - punchlines have to be tested in a live audience. Rookie Mistakes

Avoid Laughing

When attempting to deliver a joke, avoid laughing at yourself especially before you reach the punchline. Never give a hint that you are trying to make your audience laugh.
