April 27, 2006 -- UN-PRESIDENTIAL CONFLICTS OF INTEREST? http://www.vote.com/magazine/columns/dickmorris/column60388917.phtml When Hillary Clinton runs for president in 2008, Bill Clinton's affiliation with billionaire Ron Burkle's Yucaipa Companies could become the new Bill & Hill scandal - the equivalent of Whitewater. It's not that the various Yucaipa funds - which invest money for foreign and domestic investors - have done anything wrong; they haven't. But the company's investments have the... Natan Sharansky on George W. Bush. Entire article.

Dissident President George W. Bush has the courage to speak out for freedom. BY NATAN SHARANSKY Monday, April 24, 2006 12:01 a.m. EDT There are two distinct marks of a dissident. First, dissidents are fired by ideas and stay true to them no matter the consequences. Second, they generally believe that betraying those ideas would constitute the greatest of moral failures. Give up, they say to themselves, and evil will triumph. Stand firm, and they can give hope to others and help change the world.... Sign in to see full entry.

I have often thought about why the Bush administration backed off of their insistance that Saddam was trying to buy fuel for WMD's in Niger. The British intelligence service believed it totally. Only Joe Wilson, who traveled there on a mission to discredit the president, asked around down at the fish market, nobody seemed to be able to answer, so he returned to Washington with a huge false positive on the deal. Bush lied? Never!... Sign in to see full entry.

This blogger is backed into a corner and ready to strike...................

I must disagree with the current prognosticators on Iran. Is Bush bankrupt politically at home? Militarily in Iraq? Diplomatically at the U.N.? Or is this just the strike needed by a good man who has vowed to rid the world of terrorism? --kingmi _____________________________________________________________ Rooting out Iranian Islamofascists who bankroll and threaten the world with terror attacks: important. Being able to gas up your family’s fleet of cars: priceless. -- Howard Fineman... Sign in to see full entry.

It is remarkable that a black journalist can write a scintillating piece of journalism on racism in America, in 2006, and not include a remark about the eleven million undocumented Americans living and working among us. I bought my morning coffee next to one group of Mexican men this morning. I wanted to speak, another chance to practice my Spanish, but held my tongue. I felt they wanted their space, and I allowed it. I hate to be a bore, but, no one else seems to be even mildly alarmed at the... Sign in to see full entry.

George W. Bush Has to Make these Decisions Right................

Scheduled within his strategy for a comeback is the job of convincing conservatives to accept a path to citizenship for the immigrants already here. -- kingmi ________________________________________________________________________ http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/012/057imivu.asp George W. What a load! You Want Latinos Should adopt Cartoon-Killings Strategy?

Well, I think the more they walk out the more they will learn. Political Science learned in a multiple intelligence format, such as the school "walkout" is as valuable as sitting in the classrooms and watching other students work. Let them get a feel for who they are. At least they will know what this country can and does hold for them. That will inspire far greater efforts towards education. Inspiration might only be 10 percent of the writing process, the other 90% being perspiration; but... Sign in to see full entry.

Al-Queda Telegraphs their Plans to fellow blogger..........................

http://www.washtimes.com/commentary/20060323-083951-9939r.htm Stripped if its complexities, al Qaeda's strategy, Mr. Kepel explains, is to defeat the U.S. in Iraq, use this victory to roll over traditional oil-rich regimes in the Gulf that are security wards of the U.S., and then focus on Israel. But there is now an obstacle even greater than the U.S. -- Iran. Tehran, as seen through Zawahri's geopolitical viewfinder, is already calling the shots in large parts of Iraq. Whether the U.S. stays or... Sign in to see full entry.

" If a 10-kiloton nuclear device goes off in Midtown Manhattan on a typical work day, it could kill more than half a million people," he explains. Ten kiloton is a plausible yield "for a crude terrorist bomb," -- Sam Nunn I have been reading Arnaud deBorchgrave, editor of the US News & World Report, for several years now. He is frighteningly powerful and adroit in his statements about what the world is really like. We seldom get such a cosmopolitan view of the threats we face, the joys we miss... Bloggers Do Not Agree -- Iraq Civil War. Well, Is it or Isn't It?

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2006/03/of_course_its_a_civil_war.html March 24, 2006 Of Course It's a Civil War By Charles Krauthammer WASHINGTON -- Today's big debate over Iraq seems to be: Is there or is there not a civil war? Yes, say the defeatists, citing former Prime Minister Ayad Allawi, a man with an ax to grind against the current (elected) government that excluded him. No, not really, not yet, not quite, say U.S. officials and commanders, as well as Iraq's president, also... Sign in to see full entry.
