From the garden

Research

did some ancestry research today....joined ancestry. my great grandfather charles and his wife arrived from russia, 1895. one of their children is my grandfather edward sr. and his wife was mary bohinski, one parent, her father from poland and her mother borned in pa. when i was looking up mary... the Stermers

being raised in kansas by my grandparents, i don't know much about my fathers family who lived in PA. i mentioned here on a post that i did the 23 and me, DNA thing. well it said my ancestry composition was northern european, and mentioned German.....i was told my father and his family were germans.... after 20 years of digging a hole in the ground

we have been thinking of filling the pond up with water. and then today i read on "themindunleashed" about Fukushima. well we love fish and raising what we eat may be the way to go. there was an accident on the road to our house today, a truck run into a power line and we were without power all... i have been all sad that my purple martins did not return and low and behold i noticed at least 3 couples and maybe more are in the martin house.....should be full but i will settle for 3 if that is all there is. and i have a question, where do the bugs hide during the day that eat the leaves in my... it was music to my ears

life in my garden.
