WW1

I was reading in the Indie the other day, about the old soldiers who survived the first big war. Funny thing is, would they get the same support today? Would people turn out in their thousands to march to their deaths in the same way? I don't thing so. So what has changed? People are no smarter or stupid now, than then. So what has changed? I think TV has made the difference. We are better informed. Informed of a world where there is more to it, than dieing for an abstract cause. This village of... Sign in to see full entry.

Ebay

One thing has just accoured to us. that it is better to sell in bulk on ebay than a few books at a time. a huge parcel with 20 odd books in it might only retail at 50p a book, but at least you get your money back quick. If this kicks off, I'm toying with the idea of going back to help the aged. At least we could shift the books quickly there. Little else happening. Strange dreams, but some good ideas on the magical front. Writing articles appeals to me as a very good idea. What subject to pick?... Sign in to see full entry.

the future?

when I think about the future what do I see? I don't see myself selling books on ebay for ever more. sure it pays some of the bills(for now), but it won't last for ever. The money isn't fantastic and I'm getting fed up with it all. I started all this to write, and to make money writing and little else. Now I'm stuck in this rut and I can't get out. took at look at some of my old haunts on the web, and some of the writing sites. Of course this led to the next stage in the story: what if I went... Writing Articles

I've revived an old idea about making money from writing. Basicly I can only make money through my own efforts, because I have no capital left. there are plenty of good ideas for making money on the net(look at Ebay!) but you need some capital to invest in them. Buy stock ect. Now we have the book business, but it is too slow and needs a lot of investment to start off with. A book can only cost you 15 pence for 10 days, but mulitply that by 6,000 and you need to sell a hell of a lot of books in... Sign in to see full entry.

Skin of my teeth

Just got off by the skin of my teeth with the Bank of Scotland. But not out the shit yet! the weather has turned thank goodness, and the heat is finaly building up. Ebay doing really well, despite the poor postage service on Surface mail. got the cheque off for the Tax, and we should just make it tax-wise. On reading the hypnotism boo, some very interesting things come up. The business of sending a message from the left side of the brain to the right is all important. The right side of the brain... Money coming in?

the b Money coming in? although it looks like we might be Ok for money, it will be touch and go. With the Tax bill and the rent all falling at the same time, we will be stretched to the very limit this month. funny thing is, the book sales are through the roof. ebay has proved more than enough to get us out the mire. If I'm still writing these things in a months time, then we lived to fight another day. The holidays are upon us. When I worked in the factory, this was always the strat of holiday... Hospital

We visited the hospital today. I don't know what all the fuss is about, with people winging about the decay of the NHS? It looks in good shape to me. At least the Edith Cavel does in Peterborough. Financialy things are on the up. Paypay has turned around more money in the last few days than Abe and amazon put together. Good old Ebay! I see tony got off the hook again. What's new? Thisnew inquirey could be nothing else other than a white-wash. Although I still think Sadam has weapons of mass... Sign in to see full entry.

Bank trouble

with the impending doom of bank loans having to be repayed, I tried to sort things out by asking for financial advice. At first my blood turned cold, but with the help of business Debtline, we are out of the worsed of it. Far from over, but we live to fight another day. the irony is, that Ebay have more than saved our bacon, but last years business, Gardening lost a lot of money. with compound interest, it has put us 30,000 in debt. We can't pay that back, so bankrupcy loomed! Now the Birmingham... Sign in to see full entry.

Keep going

Can't think of anyhting else to call this today. Ebay things are good. Radio 2 stuff about Ebay was good. Even though they got scammed. Went to Uppingham book fair, poor showing. got the silliest notion about logging onto a gambling site to see if I could turn my fortunes around. The Bannana one seems eaiest. Of course I can't rememeberthe old ones, when the old computer went down, but what the hell. Had some good ideas about Magick. The one overriding thing is, that it will be my inner world...
