Water-water everywhere!
We had a burst pipe in the village yesterday and had to ration water for 48 hours. Now it was not just a matter of no shaving or washing up, we were worried about drinking water, and more importantly, Mother was worried about water for her horse. Just makes you think about how little it takes to knock us back to the middle ages. Ironic really, as the name of our village is: Tinwell. Which some people took to mean Village of the 10 Wells.
