Gloom Here in the UK, we are heading for gloomy times. What with the Covid and the re-introduction of a massive lock-down, I can see a dark and miserable winter ahead. What's more, the rain has set in all day. Record rainfall for the last month, but it could be worse. I've read that in 1880 there was a really bad flood which flooded the local and town and surrounding villages. But someone posted a record of a local scholar writing about an even worse flood.
