Virtual Insanity?
If new tech is coming along, I don't think it will be in the form of more gadgets. People are so prejudiced to putting things on their heads or in front of their eyes, the VR or Augmented realities will simply not work. The new Meta-verse is a total scam and will never take off. The only thing that will is something like the Holo-deck on Star Trek Generations. A place where you simply walk in and find yourself in a new world is just too tempting to pass up.
