my photo

Dear mysterious BN Staff, and maybe Humayan, I have a photo posted on my NOSEY FLYNN Blog that some can see and others can't. I've been advised to "Try saving the picture in JPEG format. Right now, it's saved as a BMP, which is why only some people can see it. " I have the photo saved as a jpeg image on my computer. I uploaded it to a website (http://members.aol.com:/knolan13/nosey.jpg), and yes the colon in the middle needs to be there. I'm not sure what a BMP is and, and, and...I'm so confused. Someone suggested it could be other peoples browser settings. Any advice you can give would be appreciated. Is there something I should be doing differently?

New blog won't accept paste

Yo guys use wax paper for your web page?

Seriously, not good. I'm trying.

OK, my blogs are a mess in progress. Dear BN...

What is the best way to gather my three blogs into one? (I'll prune and trim after that).

Account oddity

I read people's blogs and it isn't being appearing on my account that I did that. (And I don't mean just their comments). Another one I read a couple times registers about ten hits. Someone steal my password or something?

Very high blog fee...?

Hi,

I was a blog member for two months (possibly three, though it's unlikely). I just got my credit card bill back, and it seems that I've been charged $29.99. for those two months. Is there some hiddden fee that I'm not aware of here? I was under the impression that the fee was $2.99 per month.

Another question from a blogging newbie

It says on page 3 that blog rankings are based on the number of "unique readers" the blog receives.  What are unique readers?  Does this mean a blogger's hits to their own blog are not counted?  (I pray that's the case... please tell me it's so!)

Ummm...BN Staff, IMHO you messed up on this one.

Where the heck has the new comments section gone?  I like reading others' comments to ALL blogs!  There is a comments section when you view your own blogs, but I want to see others!!!

Sorry, 'nother subject: streamlining

I'm considering condensing all my blogs into one, and copy all my comments onto it. Any ideas? (Wonder if I'll translate the counters in place? Might be a good experiment any way it goes?).

OPEN FOR DISCUSSION

A few days ago I posted the Iraq War IQ Test, (written by Daniel Quinn) in my Molly’s World Blog. I later moved it to it’s own blog (called Iraq War IQ Test) so that my other posts wouldn’t push the Iraq post out of sight. Today I found the Iraq War Test , in its entirety on the blog “Stop the War”. The author, Damon Leigh, thought it was an important post, and so reposted it on his own blog. I was uncomfortable with that. My position is that while quoting or referring to other people’s blogs is fine, reposting someone else’s blog in its entirety or even a majority of a blog, isn’t right.

I’ve communicated with Damon about this and we agreed that this would be a good place to have the issue discussed. Is it ever all right to cut and paste someone else’s blog into your own? Is it okay only if they didn’t write the post themselves personally? What if they had to do research to find the complete information (or test) and spent quite a bit of time digging around and contacting people to make that post?

We’d really like to know what you think.
