POSSIBLY LOSING POSTS

I left two posts on the subject hyperlight physics applications and they may not have been saved, for some reason.  I checked on the business and technology area and found that no subject was listed.  I left a post that if it were printed out might be two or three pages long.  Did it disappear after I submitted it, or is it in the system somewhere being edited?  I know you advised consolidation.  But if posting new material under the same blog designation doesn't work, I may have to just create new blogges and forget about consolidation. I hope I don't have to go against your advise.  But if it doesn't work, I don't want to be typing over an hour for nothing.

NOT HAVING MY BLOGGES READ

I have written 45 blogges as of early Sunday, June 15 and to my knowledge, none of them have been noted as being posted.  I have incredible ideas that I believe many people would love to read.  I have written about technical wonders in the future like my stratotowers that will be building miles tall and ideas that may help the stock market exceed 30,000 points.  I've written about androids, medical devices and procedures  that may save millions of lives in the future, and even how to possibly build a UFO.

I will also write science fiction stories in the future that may astound people.  I intend on having at least 100 blogges available for people to read.  Most will be in the business and technical area.  I want my blogges to be as meaningful as possible as well as entertaining.  Look for Rick Badman's material or use my e-mail address RBADMAN46@AOL.COM.  I want to change the world.  But if the material meant to be used to change the world isn't available, it will be as if it doesn't exist.

Format Question

I just posted my first blog.

It showed up but all the indents were gone. Ideas on how to fix this?

Link problem

I followed the directions and created a link on the right side of the page. Then I thought: how do I add another? I managed to add the text for the second link, but for some reason it's not a real link. I can't figure out why it's not working because the html I copied looks exactly like the html of the working link. However, I'm not sure I didn't add something extra or take something away or didn't know how to add something i need.

PROBLEM WITH FEATURED BLOGGS

could you slow down the random generator long enough for a person to read all of the featured blogs.  Just now I saw 2 tht I really wanted to read, and new I had to choose and I did hoping I could hit the back button and retrieve the other, but alas, it was gone... help.  Maybe the featured blogs could change hourly... that way they could really be considered featured...

thanx for your consideration!

QUESTION

DEAR BN STAFF - THIS WAS ORIGINALLY POSTED ON MAY 13 BUT I NEVER GOT A RESPONSE - I THINK IT WAS LOST IN THE SHUFFLE OF CATEGORY COMMENTS OR SOMETHING......ANYWAY, TRYING AGAIN:

Ya' know how on the front page of BN you can click on "See more in new Posts" and then you get a page of new posts and at the bottom, there are more pages of new posts?

Well, would it be possible to do that with the comments page too? Right now there is only one page of the newest comments. I know I can check my own comments from the write page, but I think many people like looking over all the comments. I've gotten turned on to many blogs that way.

Something to think about for your multitude of future plans. Thanks!

AND HERE WAS DAMON LEIGH'S COMMENT :
"One simple thing to do would be to add a 'New Comments' link to the collection of links top right, to save us going via 'Home' each time. And I do like the idea of having 10 or so pages of Comments, as opposed to the current one.
To extend Molly's idea - and I saw this on the MichaelMoore.com forum before it was taken down - is to add an option to track a Comments conversation by having the system auto-email me each time a Comment is added to a conversation I'm either watching or involved in. Currently, it's easy enough to watch comments to my own blogs through the 'Write- Read' links (though not so easy with old blogs) but I can sometimes comment on many other blogs, and I just lose track, once I log off and sleep - which I do very occasionally! I appreciate this is technically more of a challenge, but by no means impossible."

Getting paid

I would like to know how writers get paid.  I do not remember ever entering an address at any time.  Do you not send checks in the mail to the writers when money is due to them?  If this is not the case, how do I get paid when other people have looked at my writing?

View Comments

I swear I saw "View Comments" somewhere, but I can't find it (I've looked for two days). It was so nice, to have a place you could click and see all the comments for a particular blog.  Where is it?  I realize I'm blind....

When did the price go up?

Makes me glad I'm an annual member and that I got in under the wire on the old price, but I didn't notice the price increase until I saw a blog entitled $5.95? Just wondering when the price went up.

SAME ISSUE

Thank you for responding to my question.

Your answer was: "We are continuing to monitor member feedback. Since members have many different opinions on the home page, we are not currently planning to make any significant changes to the current elements."

I don't believe anyone ever complained about showing the title and partial first line of each post. And if you had a problem showing the beginning of each post, wouldn't you have stopped it on all the blogs. Instead you have continued to show the title/first line on the new posts, on the featured blogs, on the Top 100 blogs and in every place I can find except for the top ten blogs on the front page.

Why would you single out only that feature, and not list the title of the latest post, when you list it everywhere else?

Headlines (What is this?)
