How can we judge?
Determinism: Basically, each action has (a) consequence(s), and is the consequence of (an)other previous action(s). Dominoes set each other off. Physics works according to rules: even things which seem completely causeless are borne of physical causes. So, everything in history is as it is, fits perfectly into place.
