North Dallas Forty
Just got a copy of the Peter Gent novel about a fictitious pro football team at a used book store for a quarter. Had been looking everywhere for it. I first read the book when I was 12. It was 1979. If my mother knew what it was really about, I would have never been able to bring it in the house....
