raised to be independent, team player, leader and/or all of the above?
I wasn't "raised", the number just gets bigger... I look back on growing up and nothing was really ever consistent. My kids asked me about school years ago. Speak when spoken to...
When I was young, it was not ok to speak at all around adults unless they talked directly to me first. I was to remain quiet until I was spoken to. This was especially important at the dinner table. First memory in elementary school...
I remember standing near the swings at the playground one day, I couldn't have been any older than six, I know it was before 2nd grade. expectations for education?
Elementary. I was told to be nice. Play fair. Show respect. Listen. I don't remember issues with homework or grades. I do remember tough and serious life altering issues and situations were introduced during this time. Middle/Jr. High I went to both. 2 separate schools to entirely different states.... What is your very first memory?
It's not one specific thing. It's a place. The first house I remember living in was in the mountains of NC. Beautiful 2 story white house black shutters maybe an acre of land?
