Beware of the web forum whores

In the almost 3 years that I have had my little web forum, at times it has been plagued with spamming idiots and web forum whores. In the beginning, I was inexperienced with this sort of thing and did not screen people registering for the forum well enough. There are a few lessons learned in a hurry...
