I've been so busy with these kids

Sometimes I think that the summer school vacation is too long. Ok, so the two oldest boys drive themselves around so thank God for that, but here it is almost the middle of July and the 20 year old isn't working and the 18 year old just started delivering pizzas. The oldest was working but his boss... Sign in to see full entry.

Here we go

I'm happy to say that the bullies did not return. Thank God. Today was the last day of school until the fall. Now it'll be a whole lot of driving the kids around wherever they need to go. Actually just one of them really. The one entering high school. The older two boys have their own vehicles and... Sign in to see full entry.

So worried...

My soon to be 20 year old son who lives with his friends this summer in another town might have a problem tonight, and I'm a wreck. I've watched this kid turn every negative thing that has occured in his life into a positive, I've seen him be a wonderful brother and a devoted son to being a very... Sign in to see full entry.

Little girls

My boys, all three, are a treasure to me because I am able to watch them exceed in athletics and such. I know girls are athletes too, not sure about my little one, but after 3 sisters and we are all dancers(two of my sisters own a dance school) it has been thrilling for me to watch the contact... In about two months he'll be going back to school in Boston and living with his roommates from last year off campus. I worry. I realize now what my parents meant when they told us that the worrying... Sign in to see full entry.

Graduation Day is coming

The information we received was that my son definitely was diabetic and would need insulin daily. He was devastated. Only 13 years old and wanting to be just like his big brother, little brother, and friends. We told him the only difference between him and them was that he would need to take insulin... The battle returned

As I was saying, Luke was in eighth grade when the change occured. I thought how odd it was that he ran so quickly to the bathroom from the bus stop. The next day I received a call from his school secretary asking me to bring a change of clothes for my son because apparently there was a water fight... Sign in to see full entry.

My second son's rare illness

Out of my four pregnancies I must admit that I was the most health concience during the one where I carried my second son. I didn't drink any alcohol at all or smoke any cigarettes which I occasionally did during the other three. I ate healthy and took all my vitamins. I was sure he was going to be... My third son and my little girl

Letting go of my oldest two sons has been difficult but I wouldn't have it any other way. After all, they are young adults now but they are going to be men with their own families some day. I give advice when asked or I slip it in without them realizing it's advice. I believe having my 14 year old... Sign in to see full entry.
