If I forgive, I am somehow accepting, even condoning the bad behavior

I have heard this lie before. Forgiveness, is not possible unless we perceive real hurt. So forgiveness implies that the offence was real, the behavior, unacceptable. We may have all heard of parents who have forgiven one who murdered their child. Does this mean they think murder is OK? Of course... Sign in to see full entry.
