Summer is slowly dying Its hot breath on my shoulder Puts out less sunshine every day Yet while I wilt The summer is passing away Streams slow to trickle Not enough water My fancy To tickle Sun tearing a hole in the sky A little further away Each day smaller hole Is all I know The lawn lays flat and...
