I was delighted to hear, live on BBC Radio 4, the safe landing of the space shuttle a few minutes ago. It landed at Edwards Airforce base in the Mojave Desert, as the weather continued to be dodgy in Florida, and now has to be hauled back to Cape Kennedy on the back of a Boeing. The crew will...
