Tenterhooks.

Day 4 of the congress and so far every day life continues peacefully. Our police force is on tenterhooks. Police officers have been seconded from all parts of the country and are working 16 hours a day. Our Swedish neighbors offered reinforcements, but the chief constable considering them... From Hopenhagen with love.

Yesterday I went into Copenhagen. From Central Station I walked to the Town Hall Square and then along one of the world's longest walking streets to Kongens Nytorv then I boarded a bus and went off to collect the grandchildren. A solution.

In the following picture you can see a station (Karlsruhe in Germany) where there are no garbage problems. People sort there rubbish and put it in the appropriate bin. Environmental activist.

Yesterday I planned an early Copenhagen photo safari before going to my Esperanto course. It did not work out that way; an unexpected telephone call meant that I just missed a train and had to wait for another 19 minutes. How do I normally spend waiting time? At times I read a book.
