Club-cupboards, chocolate-cake and the law of maximum inconvenience.

Every Monday evening we have at meeting at our club. Usually about fifteen mainly elderly people escape from their cosy cocoons and often travel a long way just to see their friends, keep up their Esperanto skills and enjoy home-baked cake and tea or coffee. The man I was married to for 23 years and have been divorced from for the past 20 was in many ways a wise and talented m an: I am naturally indebted to him for fathering my daughter, who has in turn mothered two wonderful grandchildren. Days that I will never forget!

Yes, it was a wonderful event! I sat there watching the inauguration from beginning to end and was moved to tears.
