Armed Intruder Drill

A new kind of drill has been added to the school curriculum. We've long had fire drills and here in the South, tornado drills are common. Last week, they added "Armed Intruder Drill" at T's school. Friday Night High School Football

It is time for some football down here in the South! That is all I see on FB right now. People are pulling for Alabama, Auburn, UGA, Florida, Tennessee and so on. Lunch and Learn

I just returned from a "Lunch and Learn" at T's school. It was billed as a chance to educate parents and guardians on the new Core Curriculum and expected standards, then lunch with the kiddos. Kids Say the Darndest Things!

We were driving to church this morning and Ari was showing off his newly acquired, 1st grade reading skills by reading signs along the roadway to T and me.
