was a man of courage. In a time when there was only ONE Church, ONE God, and ONE set of doctrine for the faithful to follow, he broke away from the established creed (fundalmentalist) and brought the teachings of Jesus to all who could learn to read. The Catholic Church was appauled by his assertion that man could embrace Christ without the accutraments of the priesthood, without the direction of the Church fathers--and that faith was the element of salvation that one needed to have to be...
