Buddy may be gaining weight? Sometimes steroids can be a good thing.......

I picked Buddy up last night to bring him into the house and I could swear he feels heavier. At least, that's what I'm hoping. The only medication he's on right now is Prednisone 5mg every other day. Buddy still struggles with his health problems...good news/bad news........

Buddy has been on doxycycline as well as prednisone up until Tuesday. Those were his last doses and I took him back to the clinic for more labwork. My cat has FIV, what a bummer!.............................................

I think I posted (about a year ago?) about my cat Buddy. He suddenly started losing weight and became lethargic for no apparent reason. He was still eating well and using the litter box. Things went well at the clinic yesterday...................................

R & R were gone to a bowling tournament and asked A to fill in. Instead of four of us, there were only three but A and I work well together. ARE MY CATS GAY???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I caught Buddy and Tinker in a very compromising position the other day! Buddy (top) is a manx who was dumped here several years ago. A lady had discovered her all alone and brought her in to be euthanized because she was born with a deformity in her back end. It was a crazy day at the clinic today.....................................

Nothing was simple today. Routine vaccinations turned into fevers of unknown origin which needed antibiotics. People called and needed to get their cats in NOW. Banichi has used about 5 of his 9 lives....................................

I feel so bad for Banichi. My poor cat must have a permanent sign stapled to his back that says "Please kick my ass!". Our previous dog, Billy, used to pick on him.
