This afternoon's session with "The Dads" took an unexpected turn. For the first time since we started, they started telling stories about their past as sons and their experiences in fatherhood. Here is an entry in my pastoral log book dated Saturday, May 14, 2005. It is about my attempt at doing something with the fathers in the parish. Lately, I've found myself unable to write anything new. When this happens I change activities or go to a new place. The other day, our parish priest disclosed to me the disappearance of some PHP 2,000.00 in coins. The amount was in his office already counted and readied for depositing in the bank. We started the novena masses in honor of our parish's patron, Our Mother of Good Counsel yesterday.
