Kerry accuses the president of harming the elderly by wanting to dispense with the Social Security Program, leaving most of the eledrly and others on Social Security out in the cold. That is an outright lie. Any changes toward privatization, which is a good thing in my opinion, would be gradual, and those on social Security would be grandfathered (no pun intended!).
