Yule: The Short and the Long of It

Yule, also known as the Winter Solstice, today, is the shortest day of the year, and, thus, the longest night of the year. From here on until the Summer Solstice, days will get longer, nights will get shorter. And, of course, it is a celebration of lights, renewal of hope that better days are ahead....
