Casino Church . . .

for those who like to live on the "wild side" spiritually. Build a church with ministers on call from a variety of religions. In the church there would be a huge "wheel of fortune" with the names of vareious denominations and religions on them, matching the on-call ministers. For instance, the wheel... Church Pop-Up

A tried and true method that has worked for children's books could be used for church materials. Hymnals and Bibles, for instance, could have pop-ups to help illustrate the songs and stories. With today's technology, those pop-ups could also contain chips with music, lyrics or associated stories. Sign in to see full entry.

Whenever Three or Four are Gathered in My name . . . .

That was a quote attributed to Christ. That gave me an idea. Why not a Church on Wheels, similar to the Ice Cream Trucks that roam our neighborhoods? The driver could be an ordained minister (or not, depending on what one wants) with a small van that plays hymns on a loudspeaker (just like the ice... Sign in to see full entry.

Church Swap Meet . . . .

About once a decade, people should gather at a "spiritual swap meet" where they meet with people from other denominations and other religions. They talk, they ask questions, and everyone leaves wti a new spiritual belief system/religion. Sign in to see full entry.

Gingerbread Churches . . . . .

I know it's too early to be thinking of the XMAS holidays, but someone may want to start designing now for use then: Churches could create gingerbread houses that look like the churches and sell them to make money to help those needing help. Someone could draw up plans, and the congregation could... Sign in to see full entry.

Church of the Willful Sinner . . . . .

We need to form a church where sin is recognized as a human characteristic, one that will always be with it and it should be celebrated, or at least controlled. There are so many "sins" that are not really sinful to everyone. Those are the ones that would be celebrated in the Church of the Willful... Sign in to see full entry.

Study Church

How about a "Study Church" in which one goes to study one's faith. Instead of regular services, the church would be filled with books, magazines, videos, etc., for the congregation to really learn about their faith; there could be adjacent rooms for small stuidy groups to meet and discuss spiritual... Overnighter Churches

Many of my best thinking times are between the hours of 11 PM and 7 AM. Why not have a church with overnight services, keeping to spiritual thoughts between the hours of 11 PM and 7 AM? This church would best be a discussion type church, with ministers guiding discussion on religious topics, and... Sign in to see full entry.

Vanity Church

We all have weaknesses, and for many it is vanity; we love ourselves, often too much, sometimes not enough. How about a church that caters to the vanity in us, and encourages vanity in those not vain enough. Each pew would have mirrors on the seat backs, so that the person behind can view him/her... Church Music Upgrade

Since we are living in an electronic age, why not have a digital music system with all the hymn book hymns recorded onto the system? At the door to the church, there would be a listing of all the songs and one could choose music they'd like to hear during the service. Each parishoner could choose... Sign in to see full entry.
