I do wish for the safety of the crew

of the Russian sub that has been trapped at 625 feet below the Pacific. It must be a horrible experience, to be trapped with limited resources, primarily limited air, not knowing if you were going to live or die. I do sincerely hope that the American, Japanese, and/or British rescue subs get to the tragic site in time to save the seven lives now in jeopardy. Sign in to see full entry.

Hidden News Story

Whatever happened to the London Police Officers who shot the wrong man, thinking he was a bomber in the subway. It got awfully quiet very quickly, which makes me suspicious. Those officers should be charged with murder. Sign in to see full entry.

Another Big To-Do Over Nothing

It is the president's prerogative to choose a Supreme Court Justice if a slot is available. Unless there is a gross smudge on the guy, such as having committed a crime, he should be ratified by the Senate. But, this is going to turn into another media circus; whatever happened to professional journalists, did they all die, or were they made insane by putting too much sugar into their coffee. What to do with Saddam . . . .

seems to be the non-question of the day. He's in custody; charges are being drawn up; shouldn't be too hard to figure what crimes he committed, eh? So get the court together with a jury of Iraqi citizens, and don't forget to represent all the religious ethnic groups of Iraq on the Jury, and let it go on, and let it get over with.
