A good-bye!
Well guys, the time has come… to say “good-bye”. And, I do so with tears in my eyes, for I will truly miss many of you. You have helped me through a few tough times and for that, I will forever be grateful! I have until the 10th, so I am hoping that everyone that cares to, will have time to stop by...

When a child watches a "pet" die, it breaks their heart into many pieces...
Squeaker died... late Tuesday night, the 18th. She had gotten weaker over her last couple of days and didn't have much of an appetite. She developed a rattle in her chest and just slipped away. My guess is that the approx. two days that she spent on the ground before we brought her in was just, too...

Written update on my little, furry houseguest!
Well, some of you will be happy to hear that she (the squirrel), has the beginnings of a name "Squeaker", seems to be a favorite at this point. I am afraid that is more my doing than the kids as I am the "Mommy", to everything in the house and therefore, I am the usual caretaker of the cutesy pootsy...

Looky what we've got! It's a girl!
Well, yesterday when my husband took Missy out, she saw this little one laying curled on the ground at the base of the big tree in the back yard and before he could do anything, Missy lunged and scooped her up. Poor little thing! The kids immediately wanted to bring it in of course, but we stayed...

That is what I want to say to those people who stand right on top of me when I am shopping. Whether it be in the shopping aisles or the checkout aisles, they do this and it really gets on my nerves.
