Why is it so hard to make money as a writer?

I'm sure this question plagues us all here. Even if you're not a serious writer, I'm sure you've wondered why you make but mere penies on the BN, and anywhere else. I mean, is it sad that I pour my heart and soul into my poems, and make nothing. Yet, over 24 hours or less I can rake in $50 playing... Sign in to see full entry.
