Now to truly understand the full impact of Ricky's visits, you have to understand the atmosphere of our small country hospital. Through out my career I have met many memorable characters, both animal and human that I will never forget. One such animal was Ricky, he weighed about 35 pounds and he was not only an accomplished escape artist but was very adapt at aiding others in their quest for freedom as well. Opportunities... Things have been quite at work. I mean we have been busy enough but nothing exciting. We have slowed down some, we can't tell if it's the economy though because we have years when it is slow in Jan.
