I've Just Seen Spielberg's War of the Worlds!
And all I can say is.....wow! This film is stunning visually. Throughot there are bizarre touches that only Speilberg would add. Clothes become a sad reminder of human tragedy. A huge eye plays a game of cat and mouse with human survivors. War of the Worlds is the only story I've read by H.G. Wells....
