The natural yearning to complete ourselves, to be the shining star that we were meant to be is coded into part of our DNA that is rendered useless by the scientist. Junk DNA is what they call it, however, it is not junk at all. In all of us there is a hunger, marrow deep, to know our heritage, to know who we are and where we came from, without this enriching knowledge, there is a hollow yearning that shall remain as a vacuum rendering us restless and unsure of the morrow. The Bucket

Namu Nathan’s body was slowly deteriorating. His body was shrinking and his family began to travel to the four corners of the country seeking some diagnosis from the medical profession, but his condition was a pure mystery to all. Weeks later they returned, and again; no news. His left arm was now thinning and he had difficulty using it. He began to write with his right arm. Not for a second did he stop and resent the change of venue, simply he adjusted and continued with the task. Weeks later... Sign in to see full entry.

Namu Nathan

Inspired by Kabu’s post about Allen, that I just read, and couldn’t help posting it. I promise I had no control over this post. Punch Ball

Now there is a new ball game that I never heard of Tether Ball? Punch ball for us at Public School 375 in Brooklyn was the girls version of baseball.... our ball was made out of rubber and as we threw it up in the air we punched it with our feast when it was coming toward us. Instead of the bat, we used our feast, and we had to make sure our feast was fierce and strong. The rest of the game was exactly the same as baseball. Just thinking about it makes me smile, I loved the game and I ran so... Sign in to see full entry.

Seventh Grade, and emotional rollercoaster...

Listening to Your Emotions instead of Blindly Following Them It can be painful to face a new truth that is revealed from feelings or an emotional and even harder to respond when it demands that you attend to it now. If you are facing such a struggle currently, you may want to consider that down the road, things may well become more painful or worse if you don't heed the message and act. Remember, most problems don't just go away. Rather, they typically grow worse--or create new problems.... Sign in to see full entry.
