Confidence and Self Esteem

I used to be an open book, honest to the point of tears, but I learned the hard way that most people are not, and left me feeling funny. I learned that there was no reason to be an open book. People misunderstand you, people judge you, some people feel superior. I have learned to be a bit more discreet, and it is a great skill of ‘silence is golden’ But still what I do speak about is honest and open. I just don’t speak about everything the way I used to.
