Typical Shabbat Lunch
Monster Fryder returned from Temple. Noisy and boisterous he walked up the stairs humming a Shabbat tune followed by Oriel and Malcolm’s playful noises. Hearing his voice made my stomach turn, but I emerged from room dressed and ready to participate in the weekly meal that Mother worked so hard on Friday to prepare.
