I soak in this moment Arms stretched, head to the heavens Smile across my face Though everything around me is the same Everything around me has changed A different angle befriends my outlook Paths in various directions Which should i take Destination unknown I put one foot in front of the other... Tears well in my throat and i pray to choke Still misery only allows me to breathe Allows me to feel, and live and grieve Im a mess like vanilla scoops under summer sun Only bitter,nothing sweet of what has become Cant feel when my heart is numb The aftermath of a disaster that began with the breeze of a kiss, turned to vicious winds that swept away promises, and thereafter, bliss Here in this vacancy i exist Here where love left me.
