Why I Believe — And What

First, a bit of background. I was born in 1942 to fundamental Pentecostal missionaries on leave in Eastern Montana for the duration of World War II where they pastored a small Assemblies of God church. They had served in German Poland before the War, and they returned to West Germany in 1950, which was as soon after the war as possible. Thus my younger sister and I grew up in war-torn Germany, where I learned to speak German fluently, where I went to school, and where I developed my early... Sign in to see full entry.

A BIT OF PLANNING AND A LOT OF LUCK – A GRADUATE COURSE IN HIGH ADVENTURE

It started out when I was a youngster in Montana where my father pastored a small church in Conrad in the southwestern corner of the state. The other kids wanted to be…well, whatever kids want to be in rural Montana: Farmers, postmen, bankers. But little Bobby – me – wanted to be a fireman, because it clearly was the most exciting thing a person could do, so far as I knew from my extensive three and a half years experience in the big world. When a missionary working as a doctor in pre-Red China... Sign in to see full entry.

AMANDA VS.THE FEDS – ROUND ONE

Courtesy NASA Gus Grissom with Liberty Bell 7 just prior to launch He was born Virgil Ivan Grissom, but everybody called him “Gus.” Grissom was America’s second astronaut, following Alan Shepard's historic sub-orbital flight with his own 15-minute flight aboard Liberty Bell 7 two months later on July 21, 1961. Liberty Bell 7 differed from Shepard’s Freedom 7 in that it had a large window instead of a small porthole – a picture-window through which Grissom was able to observe the Universe; and... ALAN CARUBA REVIEWS “THE CHICKEN LITTLE AGENDA”

[Alan Caruba of Bookviews.com received an advance copy of The Chicken Little Agenda. Here is his reaction to this book.] What if I told you there was a book that even a person with no scientific knowledge could read and understand that would dispel all your fears about “global warming”, nuclear energy, “ozone holes”, and much of what the daily media tells you poses a terrible threat to the Earth and you? What if I told you the book was written by a retired submarine officer with a B.S. in... Sign in to see full entry.

PROF. WALTER WILLIAMS REVIEWS “THE CHICKEN LITTLE AGENDA”

[Prof. Walter Williams received an advance copy of The Chicken Little Agenda. Here is his reaction to this book.] Robert Williscroft has masterfully debunked what masquerades as science in a range of hot button topics from the environment and energy to education and government. He’s made his arguments accessible to the ordinary person, supplying him with intellectual ammunition to confront the experts. Prof. Walter Williams John M. Olin Distinguished Professor of Economics George Mason... Sign in to see full entry.

The Chicken Little Agenda – Debunking "Experts'" Lies

It's been about one year since I last appeared on this blog. I am here now to announce the publication by Pelican Publishing of my new book: The Chicken Little Agenda – Debunking "Experts'" Lies. This is the book that puts Al Gore in his place, and conclusively proves that the "sky is NOT falling - never has, never will!" Here is what Prof. Walter Williams (the well-known Conservative/Libertarian Economist) had to say about this book: "Robert Williscroft has masterfully debunked what masquerades... The Gipper

Ronald Reagan left us today, permanently. For more than a decade he has been on this journey, as his mind slowly faded under the devastating influence of Alzheimer's. Day-by-day, hour-by-hour, step-by-step, Ronald Reagan took his leave with dignity and grace. Ronald Reagan - the Great Communicator - liberated more people than anyone in history, inspired more people than any American President, garnered more hatred from the Left than any historical leader - something we now understand because we... SLIDE SHOW FROM THE GEOGRAPHIC SOUTH POLE

I have added to my website a set of slide shows from my year at the Geographic South Pole. I invite BN readers to take a look. Viewing is free, and you might find it interesting. The entire program still is under construction, but about 100 slide are available for individual viewing, or as a sequence of slides. Within about a week, the entire show should be available. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only site on the entire world wide web with such a display from the bottom of the world. Sign in to see full entry.

MAKE THE OTHER POOR DUMB BASTARD DIE FOR HIS COUNTRY

General George S. Patton once said a soldier should not strive to die for his country, but rather should “...make the other poor dumb bastard die for his country.” What is war? Why do we fight them? Is “civilized war” a meaningful concept? Can we realistically fight a war within a set of arbitrary rules? Over the course of nearly a century, Nobel Laureate Bertrand Russell tried to convince the world that violence was not an acceptable way to solve differences, not only that violence was...
