Just completed a live interview on WTKF in North Carolina
Lockwood Phillips of WTFK in North Carolina called me this afternoon to ask if I would appear on short notice on his talk show along with Dan Gainor, the Director of Business and Media Institute. Gainor had just completed a presentation to the full Senate Environment and Public Works Committee on the subject of Global Warming and the Media. The discussion was about how the media has taken on Climate Change in an advocacy mode, and how difficult it is becoming for scientists and non-scientists...

A chicken in every pot...a gun in every closet
This morning on the FOX News Channel, I heard a discussion about a Pennsylvania community of about 500 that is considering requiring every household to keep and maintain a gun with appropriate ammunition in the household. When I heard about the idea, it seemed a perfectly good one to me. In fact, I suspect that most, if not all, of the houses in that community already comply with this suggestion. I was shocked, however, to hear all four panelists and the moderator oppose this idea as very bad....
