Part 7 Hello kittens

Manolo and I acquired some new additions to our little family. Sam’s cat had a litter of criminally gorgeous kittens, and following some sort of madcap mental aberration, we decided to take two of them. One was totally black and the other tabby; I had never had cats before and am terribly allergic... Sign in to see full entry.

Part 6 Goodbye El Molino

My final departure from the restaurant was under rather a cloud. It all stemmed from one incident. For a few days prior to ‘the incident’, three young Norwegian boys had been coming into the restaurant for lunch. They were really very young, probably between 10 and 12 years old, but in they trotted... Sign in to see full entry.

Part 2 Looking for a job...

After that first delirious evening, I climbed into bed; fully expecting not to be able even to close my eyes; only to wake ten hours later after a deep and dreamless sleep. I... Part 1 Arriving...

Where to begin? Not at the beginning, that's for sure. Heaven forbid I bore you irrevocably at this early stage. So how about at the moment I decided to leave England? Well there I was; young and exceedingly silly; working as the junior receptionist in the Market Harborough Medical Centre. Probably... Sign in to see full entry.
