Okay, gotta keep it short today....my wife gave birth to our first child (baby boy!) 5 weeks early, so I barely found the time to gamble this week.....nonetheless, I feel these are pretty solid picks...no college games this week, so just going with 2 NFL games......I will give my reasoning later,... 2-1 for the weekend...not too bad

Florida (-9.5) 31, Alabama 20 (WIN) Arizona (-14) 34, St. Louis 20 (WIN) New England (-4.5) 24, Seattle 21 (Loss) Well, it could have been a lot better if it were 3-0....I can't believe how badly the Patriots played in that game...they did squeak out the win (24-21), but damn....Should have easily... That was a close one!

Well, off to a 1-0 start, but that was a lot closer than I imagined it would be! Thanks for the congrats growler....that game very easily could've gone the other way, and I saw what you were saying about the Bama defense. I had to sweat it out, big time....but I'll take it. About this Blog

I've been having a great year picking both NFL and college football games against the pointspread, hitting about 69%(hence my username, Stealing_Cabbage). This blog will, of course, only be useful to readers in Las Vegas, who can legally gamble in a sportsbook. I certainly do not condone or recommend gambling on sports, as it is illegal almost everywhere in the United States. However, I don't condone or recommend smoking cigarettes either, but they are for some reason still legal. So make you own choices....we are adults here. Watch my picks for a couple weeks and see how they're doing. I'm very selective, usually with only two or three picks per week (you'll never beat the man by trying to pick every game). Maybe you have a trip to Vegas coming up and need some winners. I've had three break-even weeks this season (1-1 results), but in every other week have turned a profit. So.....take it or leave it......but there are a couple games out there every week that are like, as Colin Cowherd
